DSC Panels












To arm entire system - both interior and perimeter


  • Close all windows and doors (the green Ready light will turn ON)
  • Press and hold (Away) for 2 seconds (the keypad will beep rapidly 5 times and the red Armed light will turn ON)
  • Exit premises before the delay time expires


To disarm system when you return


  • When you enter through the door, the keypad will emit a steady warning tone
  • Enter your 4-digit Master Code or User Code (the armed light will turn OFF)
  • If you make an error, press (#) and enter the 4-digit code again


To arm perimeter of building and still move freely inside


  • Press and hold (Stay) for 2 seconds


To arm system with door or window open


  • Press (*)(1) while disarmed
  • The Bypass light will flash
  • Enter the 2-digit zone number to be bypassed
  • To exit the Bypass function press (#)


To silence alarm


  • Enter your 4-digit Master Code or User Code


When trouble light comes on


  • Press (*)(2)
  • Some keypads will describe the Trouble (full-message keypads); others will only identify the Trouble number (fixed-message and LED keypads)
  • If Trouble number 8 is lit, the time and date needs to be reset
  • For all other Trouble conditions, contact AlarmCraft tech support at (901) 746-0300 .


To set time and date


  • Press (*) (6) and enter the 4-digit Master Code
  • 1 long beep indicates an error, press (#) and enter the Master Code again
  • After 4 short beeps, press (1) then 10 digits, 2 each for the hour, minute, month, day and year (HH:MM MM/DD/YY)
    • Use a 24-hour clock (e.g. 8:30 pm = 20:30)
    • Use 2 digits each to indicate the month and day (e.g. March 8 = 03 08)
    • Only enter the last 2 digits of any given year (e.g. 2007 = 07)


To enable door chime feature


  • Press and hold (Door Chime) for 2 seconds
  • 3 beeps = ON; 1 long beep = OFF


Changing keypad buzzer tone


  • If using a PK5500 keypad, press (*)(6) and enter the 4-digit Master Code then proceed with the following:
    • Scroll to the phrase “Buzzer Control” and press (*)
  • If using an LED or fixed-message keypad, press (*)(6) and enter the 4-digit Master Code then proceed with the following:
    • Press and hold (Left Arrow)
    • The tone will change
    • When the desired tone is identified, release (Left Arrow)


To sound an alarm manually


  • Press and hold (Fire) or (Emergency) or (Panic) for 2 seconds


Alarm memory display


The system is designed to remember alarms that occur while the system was armed. Upon disarming and if an alarm occurred, the Memory light will turn on. The zone(s) which caused the alarm will be illuminated on the keypad.


  • Press (*)(3) to view the alarms
  • Press (#) to exit
  • Arm and disarm system to clear the memory.


To add access codes


  • Press (*)(5) and enter the 4-digit Master Code
  • 1 long beep indicates an error, enter the Master Code again
  • 3 short beeps indicates acknowledgement, enter a 2 digit user number to be programmed. User Codes 01-48 are available for the PC1616. User Codes 01-72 are available for the PC1832. User Codes 01-95 are available for the PC1864.
  • Enter the 4 digits for the code
  • Enter another 2 digit number to program another code or press (#) to exit 


To remove access codes


  • Press (*)(5) and enter the 4-digit Master Code
  • 1 long beep indicates an error, enter the Master Code again
  • 3 short beeps indicates acknowledgement, enter a 2 digit user number to be programmed. User Codes 01-48 are available for the PC1616. User Codes 01-72 are available for the PC1832. User Codes 01-95 are available for the PC1864.
  • Enter (*) to remove the code and press (#) to exit
  • Once the code has been removed, press (3) to exit

Change your master code


To change the master code on your Go!Control panel, complete the following steps:


  • Press Security > Menu > Toolbox > User Codes.
  • Enter in your current master code.
  • The screen will then display a list of 8 codes; choose the code you want to change by touching it.
  • Type in a new four-digit number to change your master code. The panel will then have you press "ok" and then type it in once more to confirm.


Enable & disable chime function

To turn on the chime on your GO!Control Panel, complete the following steps:


  • Press Security > Menu > Toolbox > Chime Setup.
  • Enter in your master code.
  • A list of zones will appear. For each zone, you can turn on a chime tone of your choice.

OR

  • Press Security > Menu.
  • There will be a checkbox with the word Chime next to it. To turn on a chime for every area of your home, make sure there is a check in the box.


Turn on or off the voice option


To turn on the voice on your Go!Control panel, complete the following steps:


  • Press Security > Menu > Toolbox.
  • On the Menu page, check or uncheck the box next to voice. This will toggle the panel voice on or off.


My panel started beeping


Your Go!Control panel will alert you when there is activity on the panel. The panel is beeping because it wants you to acknowledge the alert, not necessarily because there is a major problem.

To make your panel stop beeping:


  • Press Security.
  • Next to the Menu button, there should be a yellow triangle.
  • Press this triangle so that the panel can tell you what the alert is.
  • Press "ok" on the bottom of this screen once you have read the alert. This should stop the beeping. If the problem persists, contact AlarmCraft tech support at (901) 746-0300 .


Bypass sensors


To bypass a sensor using your Go!Control panel, complete the following steps:


  • Press Security > Menu > Toolbox > Bypassed Sensors.
  • Enter in your Master Code. A list of zone will appear.
  • Press on the zone you want to bypass; an icon will appear, showing you the action has been completed.


Or


  • Arm your system with the desired zone left open. The panel will ask if you would like to bypass the opened zones. Type in your Master Code to confirm bypass and then arm system normally.


To unbypass all of your zones, complete the following steps:


  • Press Security > Menu > Toolbox > Bypassed Sensors.
  • Check the box next to Unbypass All.


Adjust system volume or brightness


To turn up the volume on your Go!Control panel, complete the following steps:


  • Press Security > Menu > Toolbox > Brightness/ Volume.
  • Using the speaker icons, you can increase or decrease the volume of your panel. You can also turn your brightness up or down from this location.


Set the date and time


To set the date and time on your Go!Control panel, complete the following steps:


  • Press Security > Menu > Toolbox (page 2 of 3) > Set Date and Time.
  • Using the arrow buttons, set the date first, then push Next.
  • Using the arrow buttons set the time, then press "ok" twice.


Remember to test your system weekly!
